Loman - Mayme Canine

Waveland - Mrs. Mayme Loman, 74, Rt 1, Waveland died at 6:26 a.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She had been seriously ill the past two weeks. She was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church and had lived in the Waveland community most of her life. She and George Loman were married near New Market November 30, 1916. He survives. Mrs. Loman was born Dec 18, 1898, in Parke County, a daughter of Tude and Mertie Miles Canine. Survivors include the husband; two daughters, Mrs. John (Helen Jean) Patton of Waveland and Mrs. Goerge (Geraldine) Stauffer of New Castle; a brother, Kenneth Canine of Brownsburg; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.- kbz
